MHE’s book of the month is “Kids in the syndrome mix of ADHD, LD, Autism Spectrum, Tourettes, anxiety, and more!” in recognition of Autism Awareness Day which took place on April 2nd.

This book covers the complexities of neuro-behavioural disorders that often co-exist. The autism spectrum chapter explores new understanding of the field, new diagnostic criteria, and the usage of the term “Asperger’s Syndrome.” Included is accessible information on causes, symptoms, interactions with other conditions, and treatments for those with little prior knowledge of these conditions. There are also tips on how to work with these conditions in multiple environments such as at home, school, or other settings.
