When you are feeling depressed or suicidal, there is a new service available throughout Canada via text. Text 45645 between 4 p.m. and midnight (Eastern time) and a crisis worker will text you back.
At any time, you can call 1-866-APPELLE from anywhere in Quebec and it will connect you to your nearest suicide prevention centre. These services are also available if you are concerned about a loved one.
